About the designer:
Vilhelm Oscar Gundlach-Pedersen (1886-1960) was a Danish architect and responsible for designing a number of important buildings in Denmark. Gundlach-Pedersen was also engaged in furniture design and silverware together with Georg Jensen Silversmithy and became Director from 1927-1931. He designed the Parallel and Nordic flatware patterns and also jewelry and hollowware pieces. He was represented in many exhibitions and received a gold medal at the Paris World Exhibition in 1925 and the Diplome d'honneru at L'Exposition Internationale, in Paris in 1937.
