Owari cloisonne ware (wired cloisonne) is a ceramic glazed metallic material with a silver streak, and the creation of it began with a manufacturing method of cloisonne ware, found by Tsunekichi Kaji in the Tenpo era. After that, with the improvement of glazes and the manufacturing method by scientific technological development in the late 1800s, and the increased attention towards Japanese art works mainly from the west, it has been rewarded many times as the most attractive Japanese craft at the world exposition.
